NEW EPISODE! THIS IS DIVINE!

Go behind the sign to the night Divine died in a Hollywood hotel room. Harris Glenn Milstead, aka Divine, was the larger-than-life star of many of director John Waters’ movies. A female impersonator from Baltimore, Milstead went from touring the underground midnight circuit to starring in Water’s unforgettable and trashy films of the 1970s and 80s. Celebrated as the “Queen of Trash” during his lifetime, Divine was a bit of an unknown to wider audiences at the time of his death at the age of 42. This is Dead in Hollywood, and This is Divine! Let’s go behind the sign.

In September, I met up with Adam Papagan of Cool L.A. Tours at our office at Artisan’s Patio on Hollywood Blvd. We were hoping to interview some of John Waters’ filthiest fans at the director’s Star Ceremony. Waters was finally getting his due with a Star on the Walk of Fame. Please don't forget to like & subscribe!
