Save the Faux Library!

Owner of the Faux Library Studio Props, Marc E. Meyer, is credited as the inventor of the faux book. Meyer's prop house - which provides fake books, real books, antique furniture, and other record for film and TV sets - is among a number of SoCal prop houses that are still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic and the Hollywood actors and writers strikes. Meyer needs to raise $100,000 by February 1, 2023, before he has to vacate the premises and surrender everything inside. We interviewed Marc last week and took a tour of his amazing prop house to help raise awareness. If you can help Marc, please donate below, and please don't forget to like and subscribe so we can continue making the Dead in Hollywood web series! Thanks as always. THE MENENDEZ BROTHERS (NEW EPISODE ALERT!)

Go behind the sign to the night of August 20, 1989, when the Menendez Brothers murdered their parents in the family's Beverly Hills mansion. It was a crime that shocked the world -- a prelude to the OJ Simpson saga. The Menendez murder case has been reexamined over the years with a new generation supporting the brothers who sit in prison for life without the possibility of parole. The questions remain: Did the brothers murder their parents in self-defense after years of unspeakable abuse? Or were the brothers spoiled rich kids who committed parricide? This series will culminate with a full-length documentary on the Brothers. If you can, keep an open mind until then. NEW! THE STRANGE DEATH OF BOBBY FULLER (EPISODE 16)

Go behind the sign to July 18, 1966, when the body of singer Bobby Fuller was found dead in his mother's blue Oldsmobile in a dirt parking lot in the heart of Hollywood. The cause of Fuller’s death at the age of 23 has remained a mystery for over 50 years. Fuller, who led the Bobby Fuller Four to a Top 10 hit with a cover of “I Fought the Law,” was on the brink of stardom when he was found dead of asphyxiation in the front seat of his mother’s car. The debate still rages whether the rising star committed suicide, died accidentally, or was murdered. This is Dead in Hollywood. Let’s go behind the sign…
