Ghosts of the Knickerbocker (Stop 8)

Go behind the sign and on location to the Hollywood Knickerbocker Apartments (formally the Knickerbocker Hotel). The Knickerbocker was once the Hotel of the Stars, but as Hollywood Blvd. declined, it dragged the Knickerbocker down with it. It cycled from upscale apartment, to glamorous celebrity hotel, to a deteriorated residence for drug addicts and prostitutes, and finally to housing for seniors.

If you believe the stories, ghosts roam its halls. The massive art deco chandelier hanging from the ceiling in the lobby is the only remaining relic of the Knickerbocker’s once dazzling past. If you stare at it long enough, you might just be transported back to the days of Hollywood Land. Please don't forget to like & subscribe!

THE MENENDEZ BROTHERS (NEW EPISODE ALERT!)

Go behind the sign to the night of August 20, 1989, when the Menendez Brothers murdered their parents in the family's Beverly Hills mansion. It was a crime that shocked the world -- a prelude to the OJ Simpson saga. The Menendez murder case has been reexamined over the years with a new generation supporting the brothers who sit in prison for life without the possibility of parole. The questions remain: Did the brothers murder their parents in self-defense after years of unspeakable abuse? Or were the brothers spoiled rich kids who committed parricide? This series will culminate with a full-length documentary on the Brothers. If you can, keep an open mind until then. ROBERT BLAKE & THE MURDER OF BONNY LEE BAKLEY (EPISODE 26)

Go behind the sign to the night of May 4, 2001, when actor Robert Blake's second wife, Bonny Lee Bakley, is gunned down while sitting in the passenger seat of their car after dinner. Where was Blake? Allegedly, inside the restaurant retrieving his gun! So, who killed Bonny Lee Bakley? Was it her husband of 5-months, Robert Blake? Or a hitman he had hired? Or was it one of the men Bakley scammed throughout her life? While putting together this episode, Robert Blake died at the age of 89. Bakley's case remains unsolved to this day! I’m Castroburger, and this is Dead in Hollywood. Let’s go behind the sign…
