My obsession with the dark side of Hollywood began on the grassy knoll in the shadow of the Texas School Book Depository. When I was 15, my grandma would drop me off at Dealey Plaza on our way to my mom's chemotherapy appointments at Baylor University Medical Center. That summer, I read Helter Skelter for the first time on the Grassy Knoll. Sharon Tate was also from Dallas. Twenty years later, I found myself in the backyard of Lee Harvey Oswald's former home, a two-story Craftsman duplex in the heart of the Oak Cliff district of Dallas, questioning everything I thought I knew about Oswald.
